The moonlight slowly breaks into
The silence of my loneliness,
Caressing my tired soul
It whispers to my senses.
A gentle gush of wind now blows
Trying to sooth a weary mind.
The sleepless night now hums for me
The fragmented tunes of an old llulaby.
A wandering star stops by the moon
And narrates a vintage tale of love.
Somewhere a bereaved nightbird sings
Few soothing words on the moments behalf.
A mystique veil of gloomy cloud
Flowing across the luring sky,
Showers the glistening drops of pearls
To moisten my weary eyes.
My jaded head now lays at rest,
The fatigued mind knows no more
dread
The dried up eyes close down in peace;
The wordly agonies come to an end
